Many of the digital services available on OpenCity Italia include a monetary exchange component, in the form of payments required from users or bonuses or other forms of credit that the authority makes available to specific users or specific categories of users.

The payment flow is based on integration with PagoPA both within the paths the user follows when using the various services made available by the authority, in terms of messages and payment notices sent to the user via email and platform notifications, and finally within the personal area where the user has access to an archive of payment receipts as well as deadlines and notices regarding payments to be made.

Aspetti normativi

PagoPA is the public administration payment management system, provided for by the Digital Administration Code and made available by PagoPA, a state-owned company under the direction of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Aspetti tecnologici

OpenCity Italia has a native integration mode with PagoPA and the ability to integrate with so-called “local nodes”, the regional-level integrations with PagoPA. In this way, all authorities, in relation to the different local situations, can use PagoPA and allow citizens and businesses to pay and receive money.

Great attention is dedicated to the integration of the user experience and payment interfaces, as well as to the archiving of payment receipts.

With OpenCity Italia, it is therefore possible to grant bonuses, manage occasional payments such as fines, and manage different recurring payment methods including the wallet (electronic purse) mode.
